Student Emergency Fund
HURRICANE IDA has devastated the Gulf Coast and Greater New Orleans was among the hardest hit. Most of our students live in the Greater New Orleans area. In the wake of this crisis, UHC has reactivated the Student Emergency Fund to support students who now find themselves facing financial struggles that were unforeseen. For many, what little income they have is diminishing rapidly. Because of the impact of Hurricane IDA, many UHC students are confronting damage to their homes, the loss of work, loss of child-care options, housing and food insecurity, and are at high risk of dropping out. Additionally, the COVID-19 Global pandemic has already disrupted the lives of millions of people, including our students. We desperately need your help. By making a contribution to the UHC Student Emergency Fund, you can make a difference in the lives of our students so that they will be able to continue their education at the University of Holy Cross.
